Esther came back from Colorado
yesterday. It was a great trip for
her. It was really fascinating simply
to hear her describing the whole trip. And she was able to give away quite a few
Lydia’s wristband while at Focus on the Family headquarters. Also, while connecting the flight at Chicago
O’Hare airport, she was by herself, but again, was able to share Lydia’s story
to other tourists…
Mom needed an MRI today. When asked by the nurse if she ever had MRI
or ever in the MRI room before, mom simply broke down right there,
“No, I never had MRI myself
before.” Mom replied, “But I have been
in the MRI room too many times…”
Mom told to the nurse what
happened to Lydia. The nurse was pretty
sympathetic (that was very nice of her, because some were very cold).
Mom cried pretty hard again when
she described the MRI experience to me on the phone. On the other side of the phone, I listened and sighed…
It must be so difficult for mom. I don’t know how difficult it was during those couple hours of MRI. It’s simply scary to me that she needs to go through it. To me, it’s probably life threatening experience.
But, she is a strong woman. Praise the Lord.
