It’s Lydia’s eleventh birthday.

It’s a difficult day for mom and dad. We have been thinking about this day since weeks ago. Now, it has arrived. Time goes on, and could not be stopped.

Mom and dad also received messages from extended family in Christ that they will keep us in their prayer at this special day.

As one of them mentioned that this is a special birthday for Lydia, because it’s the first birthday she will spend with Jesus.

Yes, indeed.

Lydia definitely suffered a lot of mental, emotional, and physical pain and suffering on earth. She has not done much wrong to deserve that, she was so young.

My comfort would come from the belief that our Lord, all righteous, all loving, and all understanding, will take good care of Lydia, and thus a great birthday celebration be held today. The sufferings Lydia had to bear would be nothing in comparison.

My heart and stomach are not feeling well as I am writing this. But don’t worry, it will get better.
