While reading the book about grieving before bed late last night (I hate to say how late it was), there were two things important came to my mind:

1.    Perspective is very important.  The perspective with God’s view toward this world will help.

2.    Need to be very careful of dealing with our emotions after severe wound and loss.  Otherwise, a dream shattered could be followed by another dream shattered.

Although our dreams for Lydia has been destroyed, she could no longer be a missionary, a mathematician, or a Supreme Court justice, we are to have new dreams for her now.  We want to use her life, although short, but full of the courage, passion, love, faith and hope.  So far, we have made T-shirt, wristband, and temporary tattoo (and Internet, of course) to help sharing her story to the communities and the world.  There was also a hymn written in memory of her and is being published to a music CD from one of the most prestigious Chinese Christian artists.

And now we are setting up the Lydia Grace Wu Memorial Fund.  There will be many philanthropic giving opportunities in memory of her and encourage and award the recipients who resemble Lydia’s characters.

We continue dream about publishing a book about her.  We would like to share our faith of the Lord, even when the situation is so bad, and we, as the human beings are so weak, but the Lord is still faithful…

To publish this book remained the most challenging task for us.  This dream for Lydia, we cast in the Lord’s hand and ask for your labor of prayer with us.
