Pastor Hsu and his family | ||

Tony Hsu is originally from Taiwan. He accepted Christ a few months after he came to the United States for graduate study in 1983. As the pastor of First Ithaca Chinese Christian Church (Evangelical Free), he has been serving the college campuses and community in Ithaca since 1997. He also serves as one of the chaplains at Cornell University. He received his MBA from University of Iowa (1984), M.S. in Computer Science from Santa Clara University (1986), M. Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary (1994), and Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (2008). Before coming to Ithaca Tony and his wife Jenny ministered in Los Angeles, California, and before entering into full time ministry Tony worked as a Senior System Engineer for Unisys Corporation (1986-1992). Jenny also worked for Unisys from 1986 till they moved to Ithaca in 1997. Their two daughters Lydia and Tina were born in Los Angeles, raised up in Ithaca, and are recent college graduates (in 2011 and 2012). |
