April 2, 2006, Sunday
My dear prayer heroes,
Mom washed hair for Lydia
tonight.
With four daughters, Mom
washed our kids’ hair probably several thousands times. But this time was
extremely difficult. Lydia lost so much hair in this bathing. Mom was crying in
her heart badly while bathing her. Trying not shown to Lydia her emotion and to
comfort Lydia, Mom said to Lydia, "You have lost a lot of hair."
"That is OK, let it
fall. It’s kind of annoying these days." Lydia answered.
"Do you want to shave
it?" Mom asked.
"No, I want it to fall
by itself.” Lydia said.
The
first sight I saw
Lydia out of bathtub, tore my heart apart. My dear little daughter was not
feeling good at the moment (headache, sore throat, and stomachache). Mom and I
both had a lot of tears flowing inward. We could not let it come out. We tried
to cheer up Lydia, talked to her and brought her icy smoothie to bathroom while
she combed her hair.
Thank the Lord, soon we felt much better.
I want to praise the Lord,
Lydia’s pain medicine dose has cut down a lot this weekend. The constipation
and itchiness were no longer big problem for her. Headache, sore throat, and
stomachache are three major discomforts for her now.
Thank you for your prayers.
Thank the Lord and Praise the Lord for having you with us.
In Him,
Simon
