My dear prayer heroes,
Lydia was doing great yesterday after surgery. So, it was decided yesterday that she will
go to regular floor from ICU today.
However, she has not been feeling well and suffering pain
and discomfort today. She has been
moaning all day long. We could not
figure out what’s going on. It’s
probably because changes of various medicines, durations, doses…, etc. It’s just as difficult like last time.
We reminded her what happened Sunday night (the night before
second operation). Mommy was washing
Lydia’s hair (since she would not be able to wash her hair again for at least
another week). Mom touched Lydia’s scar
from first operation, and said, “You may always have to keep long hair in the
future. Or mommy may need to find some
scar tapes to cover up.”
“That is fine!” Lydia answered, “The scar will remind me all
about this, and how God has guided me through.”
Yes, indeed, scar would be a good reminder how we find rest,
peace, comfort, grace, and mercy in the Lord Jesus.
We had MRI this morning.
Waiting for doctor to read it.
By now, we are so scared of MRI results. There wasn’t any single good one so far. Please pray for that.
We were able to transfer to regular floor this afternoon
from ICU. That was nice. That means Lydia is recovering well. There will be less restrictions, and
interruptions, compared with ICU.
Please pray for the patient room availability in Children
hospital. We had hard time today to get
a patient room. We also heard some
children could not get into hospital.
Their conditions may not be as urgent, but still, we hope all the sick
children get the care they need. I am
sure someone currently need this prayer.
God bless,
Simon
